On Dec. 1, 2021, Abilene Freedom League was contacted by Mercedes, a reporter for KTAB/KRBC, to comment on Hendrick Medical Center's announcement that they will not be forcing their employees to be vaccinated. This announcement came after a U.S. District Judge, Matthew Schelp, in St. Louis prevented the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) from enforcing its vaccine mandate for healthcare workers until the court can hear legal challenges brought by ten states.
Our comments, or about 30 seconds or so of them, were aired on both KTAB and KRBC's 10 pm news on Dec. 1, 2021. We suspected that much of our conversation wouldn't make it through editing so we videoed the whole conversation ourselves!
