Day 2 Recap: Despite Arizona Snow, The People's Convoy Keeps on Truckin'

Day Two started with a delay as the snow rolled in and organizers decided what if any changes needed to be made to the route. They held a rally in the morning before finally taking off. After the delay, the convoy would take 223 to I-40 east and head all the way to exit 354 where the Indian Market in Lupton, Arizona is.

Multiple truckers commented today about just how many people came out on overpasses to encourage the truckers along the way. There were multiple scenes that brought a tear to their eye but the giant flag, fire trucks, and patriots at one of the overpasses were iconic.

Moms for America announced Thursday that they planned to join the convoy. During a press conference for the organization, Debbie Kraulidis said “Why are we joining the convoy? Well, because the convoy is all about our mission at Moms for America. It's about reclaiming our Country for truth, family, freedom, and the constitution. We are uniting with the truckers and all of the other Americans because as mommas, we are freedom defenders. From our kitchen tables to the highways of America, we will stand for liberty. We will also ensure the gift of freedom for future generations to come. As John F. Kennedy said 'the great revolution in the history of man, past, present, and future, is a revolution of those determined to be free.”

National support has continued to grow as well. As of Thursday at five pm, the official donations have hit 554,598 dollars. They also have support from human rights and military whistleblower lawyer, Leigh Dundas. She came into national notoriety when speaking out against the DOD data leak at the symposium led by Senator Ron Johnson that covered the COVID vaccines. After another long day of riding the roads on the way to DC, they made their way into Lupton and lined the roads with participants and supporters coming together to relax, eat, and have some good conversation. Organizers thanked the supporters for the big welcome party and amazing showing of American pride and support. They also invited people to join them at 7:00 am at the front of the convoy for a speech from the Vice President of Navajo Nation. The convoy will depart Lupton AZ at 8:00 am on Friday and head for Texas where they will stop around the Glenrio area. This is as close as the main convoy will come to us. Day two was another success despite the weather causing delays and making it cold for supporters, The People showed it would take a lot more than that to stop this movement. Day three will be interesting as they head to Texas Friday night.
